Excellent performance and venue!
The Lyric Theatre is Northern Ireland's full-time producing theatre. The new theatre opened in May 2011 to great critical acclaim. The award winning building is built in traditional Belfast red brick, glass and iroko wood and the cafe bar offer beautiful views over the River Lagan and Stranmillis Embankment. The theatre is open seven days a week with performances usually running in the evenings from Tuesday through to Saturday and matinees on Saturday and Sundays. Contact our box office for more details or check online under "What's On". Our cafe serves coffee/tea and light lunches and is open every day. As well theatrical productions, we also offer backstage tours, a programme of theatre school and professional learning and corporate hospitality. Free Wifi is availble

Excellent performance and venue!
How special to see Stephen Sondheim's musical "Into the Woods" during our recent trip to Northern Ireland. A friend surprised us with tickets. Even my apathetic teenage son enjoyed the production which was engaging and entertaining.

"Kiss me Kate" musical, comical and delivered with finesse !
great production, great cast and most enjoyable afternoon in a long time. My seat was poor but still able to see/hear everything and didn't spoil the show at all. As a non theatre goer pretty much I was surprised i did have a good time, even knew some of the songs but most of all the cast seemed to have so much fun it was infectious ! If all productions here are as good i will cross the irish sea in future to visit!
