perfect walk
We walked around the lake on a foggy, drizzly day and it was hauntingly beautiful. Topped off with lunch at one of the Gasthofs along the way, this was perfect. (With thanks to Jerry and Claire at Gästehaus am Berg in Bayerisch Eisenstein for the tip...)

Kliene Arbersee and the Seehäusl
One of life's pleasures is walking around the Kleine Arbersee on a golden October Sunday in warm sunshine, and then sitting down for a light meal and a beer at the Seehäusl over looking the lake.

A pleasant walk round the lake
An enjoyable and beautiful place to visit and walk round the lake, though part of it was closed off for tree maintenance when we visited. Many different plants to see on the lake and in the woodland and, at weekends, there are boats you can hire to go out on the lake.
