BMW Museum ~ Munich, Germany

Hundreds of thousands of people visit BMW's four-cilinder BMW tower and the bowl-shaped museum next to it each year. The museum showcases the technical development of cars and motorcycles and also has some exhibits about the history of the company. Many old cars and motorcycles are on display along a spiral ramp that curls along the inside of the bowl-shaped building.

    Good museum experience
Visited while in Munich in mid-February 2023. It was easy for me to enjoy everything about the BMW Museum experience and explored it until it closed. I really liked the kinetic sculpture, Place of Remembrance memorial and BMW sustainable exhibition. No audio guide but there is a BMW Museum app that serves as a personal museum guide. When I visited, guided tours could only be arranged by phone or email but there was no online calendar tool to view guided tour availability.

    Great for car/BMW lovers
This museum is 4 minutes from the Olympiazentrum station opposite BMW Welt. Comprehensive exhibits on the BMW story. Lots of cars and engines on display. It’s one heck of a sales pitch for BMW, I don’t know why they charge an entrance fee. It should be free with free coffee and food IMO, unless in typical European fashion they want to fatten their profits from tourists.
