Beautiful lake!

Lake Alatsee is situated in a very peaceful area. It is accessible by foot (through woodland trails) or by car. You can walk around the lake in about 25 minutes but if it's a clear day it's worth bringing a picnic to enjoy the peace and tranquillity for a couple of hours. The surrounding scenery is beautiful too, and on a clear day you get a stunning view of the alps! Well worth a visit!

    Pleasant and moderately challenging for oldies
    Attracive walk amid the lower peaks for the more mobility challenged which includes ourselves. Well maintained and with a sense of being in the lake district. Proper hikers will find it tame butthe route up there and the walk were challenging enough on a warmish day were enough for apair of only moderatelyfit mid seventies!
