    Do not miss if you like fashion
    We (2 teenage girls and I) were blown away not only by Alaia & Balenciaga's designs but by the building itself. There is a beautiful and serene flow throughout. We spent 2 hours there. The minus points are the parking (all over the port as the museum doesn't open until 11am & has very few car spaces - parking fee 5€ for 5 hours, payable by contact less credit card at the machine) & the fact we hadn't booked for lunch so do before you go to the museum, especially if you like fish. If you come from San Sebastian, you'll take the A8 then the N634 that goes along the coast, very pleasant. You could even park in Zarautz (the little town b4 Getaria) and walk to Getaria along the sea if you are up for a walk.

    Great Exhibition
    Really enjoyed the permanent exhibition, though thought the lighting a bit dark, and felt some of Balenciaga best pieces were missing. Great and very easy to navigate. There is currently a exhibition of photographs by Tom Kublin which is unmissable;
