Great place - go by ferry from the Grand Palace

This temple is considered to be the most famous and photographed temple in Bangkok, which features a soaring 70-meter-high spire decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass and Chinese porcelain.

    Must go
Wat Arun was so beautiful we went around 3 pm and it wasn't crowded. The architecture is simply stunning, I highly recommend visiting! We took a boat across the river from Wat Pho Pier which cost 5 baht each. The entrance fee for Wat Arun is 100 baht and comes with a small bottle of water.

    A must in Bangkok
We take the public ferry which allows you to have a different view of the city from the canal and the river and because of avoding the traffic. It close at 6pm. There are rooftop bars in the other side of the river to sit down and see the sunset but always are crowed. If you want to do that, go before 5pm to get a good place. If you are in the side of the Wat arun, there are ferry that just cross to the other side but be sure that it is not the regular ferry that runs through the river.
