Bahia de Los Angeles - short trip.
The Hotel Los Vientos made the trip worthwhile. The highway South is fixed (for now) all the way to Bahia de Los Angeles, so we took a quick trip. My husband could not get a fishing boat that day, but we found the spot to buy fresh Yellowtail fillets in town, to take home. The hotel had all we needed to relax for 2 days. Clean rooms, great food, and service (delivered to your room), from their restaurant, a huge palapa style bar on the shore, even a swimming pool for a dip. All masked employees, and very helpful front desk. It's a quick drive downtown, if you need something.

Cruise to Ensenada
We sailed on the Carnival cruise line to Ensenada, Mexico. From the cruise terminal it was a short walk to downtown. All stores carry the same souvenirs. The vendors are friendly but not too pushy. A nice surprise was the Malecon (boardwalk) along the marina. No walking vendors, the stores were reasonably priced. It was a pleasant walk with the pelicans diving, for nature lovers it is great. When leaving the cruise terminal turning left on the main street will take you to downtown, 10 minute walk, turning right will take you to a quiet beach, about a 10 minute walk.
