A touching experience - very interesting and rich!

I can strongly recommend visiting this small, but very rich museum! You should absolutely watch the film about the history of the Zeppelin there! I learnt so much from it and am still under the impressions I received. You should also not hesitate to ask the lady any questions you may have. She is very kind and talks about the Zepelin with passion.

    An Aviation Time Machine
The Zeppelin Museum Meersburg is a fascinating step back in time. While the larger Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen provides a broader overview of the Zeppelin era, Herr Urban's personal collection at the Zeppelin Museum Meersburg offers a degree of granularity that is exceptional, and will be deeply appreciated by those with a passionate interest in lighter-than-air, or early aviation in general. Presentation is almost entirely in German, which can be a challenge for those who do not have a basic understanding of the language, or, alternatively, a knowledge of the subject matter at hand. However, technical items, uniforms, and the like can be enjoyed and appreciated regardless of the linguistic barrier. Items that were original components of Zeppelins, or the possessions of those individuals associated with both the Zeppelin Company and the German Naval Airship Division bridge the visitor back to the time when the promise of the Zeppelin seemed limitless from both a civilian and military perspective. Herr Urban has amassed an incredible collection of artifacts and memorabilia, and anyone with an interest in lighter-than-air aviation cannot help but appreciate the history contained within the museum. This collection complements that of the Friedrichshafen museum nicely, and is absolutely worth a visit.

    Interesting Piece of History
Though it is a private collection open to public for viewing at a small fee. This is very interesting piece of history and quite informative.
