A must-see for designers and architects
This location combines the finest examples of architecture and design from 20-21 centuries. It is mainly dedicated to Charles and Ray Eams, but also contains creations of other designers and architects. I would recommend looking at the temporary exhibitions, walk around the buildings on the site, and if you are an architect, take a special tour. It is better to access this place from Basel with a train or tram since from the German side there is no station available nearby.

Design and Architecture Mecca
A truly outstanding collection of the history of decorative arts living within a collection of master architect designed buildings. Inconveniently located near nothing really, it's worth a bus and or train ride from Basel. The gigantic slide / tower is epic and the changing exhibitions dedicated to various furniture and graphic designers are always in depth and as much fun as they are scholarly.
