The Reiss-Engelhorm Museums (rem) are centres of cultural attention throughout Europe. Special exhibitions, such as “The Stauffer and Italy”, “Alexander the Great and the Opening of the World”, “Pompeii”, “Mummies of the World – the Dream of Eternal Life” or “Scull Cult” attract national as well as international interest. The “rem” presents cultural history in three locations, namely the “Museum Zeughaus”, “Museum Welkulturen” with "Forum Internationale Photographie" and “Museum Bassermannhaus” with “Zephyr – Raum für Fotografie!” (Zephyr – Room for Photography).

Awesome building complex, world class special exhibition
...in Mannheim...not the center of the world...you will get surprised by this huge Museum complex...where modern and older architechture is mixed in a Great way. I guess there is so much to see and I just went there for the the Mummy special exhibition - it was really awesome. Will come next time with more time to see everything...
