Sweeping Views From The Top
We did not attend the bird show, instead concentrating on the museum and climbing to the top of the old tower. This late medieval hilltop castle overlooks the Neckar river valley below. The castle was never destroyed and has been inhabited continuously for almost 800 years, since the mid-15th century from the line Gemmingen-Guttenberg - the Barons of Gemmingen. Great views. Great tower. Great museum. Great time!

Well-kept place
Well kept fortress with a small, interesting museum. However, the information on the exhibits is only available in German. You might want to use a translation app for that. I can't say anything about the flyind display because we didn't buy tickets for that. I believe you can book rooms here too, if you want to stay for a couple days.

worth a visit
This castle is well-kept and with easy access to footpaths through the hills/forest. While the bird cages seemed a bit small, the raptor show was informative and beautiful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The C-19 precautions were all in place and from what we could tell, monitored.
