Great golf club!
Not easy at all, I experienced some of the starting holes as very difficult if - as a stranger to this course like me - you have no idea where to hit your tee shot, maybe even not the second, as you have no view to the green! And with hanging fairways you just don’t know, where the ball will bounce to... maybe stay on fairway maybe you’re too long, and it vanishes somewhere is bushes - off the direction you hit. Better have some local players with you, who can give tips. But nice views and a challenge makes it a great afternoon to play there.

Challenging the river Neckar
Being originally from Tübingen, I lately started playing on the golf courses around there during my visits to Europe. Out of the 6 courses I played around Tübingen this is certainly the most challenging one. During the round you have to cross the river Neckar several times, meaning you play in a wonderful and quite valley just below the castle Weitenburg. The fairways are long and long hitters will love them. Make sure to reserve a cart as already the walk to the first hole is very long.

Unfortunately I picked the week of course maintenance !
When I visited, it was the week of course maintenance (I knew this before I arrived, but could not move my holiday). As a result, I was restricted to playing the shorter 9 hole course. The staff at the golf club were extremely friendly and helpful with club hire etc and made me feel very welcome. The course itself was fine for a 9 hole 'academy' style course - I hope to play the main course during a future visit !
