Nice museum but expensive to enter
The austere sign outside lures you in & the name - Fabergé. But, it's not cheap to enter & in hindsight, I would say not worth the price. The museum is over 2 floors & gives the history of Fabergé & how he came to be famous. The majority of exhibits have a QR code that you need to scan with a mobile phone to receive an explanation. There are some nice pieces but not the elusive Fabergé eggs that are famous

A bit expensive but good overall
Interesting display of Faberge works, probably (definitely) a very valuable collection. Staff were nice. If you want to see information on pieces you need mobile data/roaming as no free wifi was available and details (in English) were on online scannable catalogue. A bit dear given it was a small museum but what can you do. Gift shop was interesting but prices were very high (although given the nature of the products not outlandish).

Beautiful Faberge items but lacking information
We enjoyed a couple of hours looking at the beautiful Faberge work, during our week in Baden Baden. The reason we scored this a 3 was that there was very little information by the items, no history etc. It would have been so much more interesting to have had guidance notes (in English) or earphones (maybe an issue with Covid at the moment) so we could get some real context of the pieces.
