Excellent natural pools
2 pools surrounded by volcanic rocks and a small kids pool. The pools are easily accessed by a concrete path that is wide enough for strollers. Steps with handrails to get into the water. It is blue flag bathing area with surveillance. A real pleasure to swim here surrounded by the beautiful Azorean nature. Good facilities. On the top are changing rooms with indoor (warm) showers and toilets. Next to it are 2 cafes. Small parking area, but you can also park in the streets. If I would live on Faial, I would spend a lot of free time here.

Nice pools!
My favorite until now, since the water temperature was perfect :) It was a bit full in the afternoon and too many children in my opinion but if you don’t care about noise, this will be good for you.

The best natural swim in all Azores
We tried swimming everywhere across 3 islands in the Azores, and this was by far the best place. Good facilities, convenient access, clear water. And of course, the beautiful Azores nature. If you want to take a bath in the Azores, this is the place to go! It also has WC, changing rooms and two cafes next to it.
