WAVES!

We went in January, so there was no swimming, but... oh my... the waves! What a show. Could watch for hours. Definitely worth the stop.

    WAVES!

    it was midwinter and too cold/rough,
    ...but a pleasant stroll to stretch the legs after a car ride. public parking is limited, and is next to the huge private parking lot for Pedras Mar resort. we stayed at the resort, so we strolled to swimming hole. some folks mountain biked along part of the coastal trail; risky but very cool, and not sure that'd be great idea when it's busy in summertime
