Wonderful full day of touring with Greenzone Azores

We walked around the lake and saw where the restaurants put their pots into the ground. We got to see the chapel and enjoy our walk around the lake. We also ate at a lovely Cozido restaurant. A must do for any meat eaters!! I was able to have tuna - thanks Greenzone. We also did a walk to an area with a research center and fountains providing different carbonated waters.

    Stunning!
    Did not realise we had such glorious bubbling hot springs and thermals in Portugal. A large area to see the bubbling hot water and steaming holes. Stalls sold produce cooked in the hot springs. Also not far was the rusty coloured thermal baths for swimming. Only problem was queue for changing room and shower, otherwise idyllic setting in the midst of great greenery,
