Great cross country ski area

At a stone throw away from Mont-Blanc Les Saisies is a beautiful family resort. Our village is located at 1650m in Savoie Mont-Blanc. In winter you can ski on Espace Diamant which is 192km of slopes, or enjoy cross country on a wonderful area of 120km or even walk on our pedestrian and snowshoe tracks. In summer you will find here everything you need: lots of activities, great sceneries, gastronomy, French way of life... Here you will find amazing other activities: mountain twister, snowmobile, snow groomer outings or drive, dog sledging, Mountain biking, fat biking, sports center with swimming pool, bowling, paragliding, adventure park, mountainboarding, wellness, horse riding, game park, events, entertainments... for all the family from Grandparents to children. Beaufortain is an authentic, preserved and breathtaking country. Here, in Les Saisies, everybody speak English but we keep our Savoy accent.

Great resort for beginners, intermediates and families
The snow was amazing during our visit. We also had glorious sunshine every day. There is so much skiing. Lots of cruisy blues, some interesting reds and a few blacks. A few green runs to get your confidence. Lots of skiing through the trees. Well maintained chair lifts. Lovely mountain restaurants. Lots of fun things for kids. The Espace Diamant area is huge and you couldn’t expect to see it all in a week. There is also lots of mountain walking and cross country skiing. The accommodation is mainly self catering.

Excellent resort with something for everybody
My wife and I have regularly visited this station for the previous 3 seasons, and have no big complaints. Many consider it a 'beginners' resort - but as 'intermediate' skiers, we find it has a nice balance of easy (primarily) and challenging slopes - particularly if you upgrade your pass to the full Espace Diamant. The best thing about the resort is the incredible views of the Mont Blanc. Quite inexpensive, and very quiet in the mornings and (particularly) on Saturdays. Being a more family oriented resort, be prepared for many groups of young skiers snaking their way down the slopes. Parking is generally OK (e.g. at Le Signal) if you arrive early, but can get difficult to find a spot later in the day.
