Great town and great place to ski
I love this place because of the great skiing and the people who work here in town seems really happy to be here. There are a lot of awesome restaurants and bakeries. Easy access to walk to chairlifts all over town. Also a free shuttle every 30 minutes to take you to your favorite lift of location. Plenty of hotels and apartments to rent. Some hotels offer breakfast AND dinner. Lots of ski and snowboard rentals. Multiple grocery stores. It's easy to buy a bus ticket from Grenoble to Les 2 Alpes. You can get a TGV-highspeed train several times a day from Paris to Grenoble. The Grenoble bus station is right outside the train station. Taxi service also available, but costs 150 to 160 euros each way Gren/Les 2 Alpes There are also historic sites in nearby Venosc and Mont-de-Lans.

38 Different resorts Tried this one not in top Ten overall.
A great ski area especially being able to ski at 3500m on blues. All the way down. The signage is poor in resort. The hike from Diable to Venosc is an ordeal you have to look out for an elevator but the climb up after is arduous. Best not use Venosc unless you’re staying close by. The Link via petite aguille is best. The green trail called cretes is very difficult for a novice. The mountain eateries are poorly organised so unnecessary queues take the pleasure out of using them. The restaurant atop Diable is very expensive and not worth the extra. You’re advised to book even though it’s only third occupied. There was security on the mountain restaurant doors bag searching for what ? Best restaurants in town BC7 Nice The Spot rowdy but good food. The Canadian. The best we tried. Bars are mostly laddish drinking spots. Poor toilets. The ice grotto is great walkers can get there. We stayed at Flocons Hotel 2star but clean Friendly great value for money. . Get a hotel near the main lifts if you can. Hope this info useful.
