One of my favourite hike around Geneva
The téléphérique takes you to the starting point of the hike from La Flégère and it costs EUR 20 to go and come back. This is almost an easy hike which in 1hour and 45 minutes takes you to the beautiful Lac Blanc. It is a bit crowded during the weekend as it is a very popular destination. So, in case you can, have this hike during week-days.

Nice Day Hike from Chamonix
Just a short bus ride to the tram followed by a moderate day hike to the lake. Great vista! Recommend getting the Multi Pass to cover the bus and tram fees. Easy to do the Aiguille du Midi in the AM and Lac Blanc in the PM.

Steep difficult climb. Epic view!!
The lake once you arrive is absolutely stunning on a summers day. However, it is a challenging walk from the cable car and numerous people were struggling. You need to wake up EARLY!! Out of the heat as much as possible. It is a very long steep climb and technical Underfoot. My kids walk Ben Nevis / snowdon etc and even they found this tough!! The view however is worth the pain!!! Please note, no Toilets at the lake and it’s around a 3/4 hrs round trip!!!
