Great skiing

It’s a lovely town with plenty of great places to eat and bars to visit. The skiing is good too. Mainly blue and red runs so nothing too hard. It’s fairly large but you’d cover all the runs in a couple of full days. You might want a larger resort if you are staying a week or be prepared to visit some local resorts to have a wider range of skiing.

If only it was bigger or better connected with the rest of the Aravis domain resorts
We skied at La Clusaz for 4 days. Lots of snow, sun and very cold. The ski lifts are great, the slopes are well groomed, breathtaking views from Aiguille and Balme. Best runs are found in Etale which are sunny from mid-morning on. The only downside is it's size. Barely 130 kms of marked runs. An experienced skier cam go through the 5 massifs in on morning.

    Aravis equitation
I booked for “horse riding on snow” through WhatsApp msg , when we arrived we were told it was a mistake and we can only do horse skijoering which we accepted since we had no choice after driving for one and a half hours. At the end we had no regret at all, actually I think it was much better experience. The two ladies “coaches”, Lia and Amanda, were amazing, very friendly and funny. Great experience Highly recommended Will do it again if we come back
