Good town, OK slopes
The town is very nice. The slopes are quite sprawling and it feels like you are traversing a lot of the time. It's fun going between Switzerland and France. The Swiss wall is a fun slope but not as challenging as you might be led to believe.

Great rival to the 3 Vallées but needs more pisting
We’re big 3 Valleys fans and this was only my second time here in over 30 years. I have to say I was impressed but there is a lot of time spent on chairs. The runs are not as long as the 3v. It really needs a gondola to link to Morzine as you have to come down and take a bus. There is a good link to the Swiss resorts over the hill and the whole area above other villages like Chatel so there’s lots of skiing for everybody. However either they don’t piste everything regularly or don’t publish which slopes they have and I’d like to see this as the slopes were heavy at the end of the day before fresh snow fell later in our week. It’s a lot cheaper and better value than the 3v in many respects.
