Amazing Castle

We visited the Museum at the Castle and thought the seven euro charge per person was very reasonable considering the scale of the Museum with many rooms and floors. Information was provided in many different languages in each room re furniture, art work and purpose and history. Not to be missed if visiting Feldkirch,

Dinner in a castle - who knew?
After visiting the museum displays and looking out the windows we asked where to find the best wiener schnitzel in Feldkirch. Who knew that they would tell us, "right here, come back in the evening." TIP: If you make a reservation, you can eat in one of the window nooks.

    Scheister in Schattenburg
This museum is a must see in the town of Feldkirch. The architect and war equipment is a treasure trove for military enthusiasts. Plan on having lunch after your visit but be weary theirs a scheister in the restaurant there. He padded our bill not once but twice with extra items. A dessert we never ordered an 6 ketch ups that are placed on your table clearly marked 2 eus/tube of the expensive condiment Also the server wanted euros but I saw him accept a card from another patron. So insist you want to pay with a card if you want. They do accept debit cards.
