Magic "See" in the middle of Alps
We spend there an amazing weekend in summer. Nice area with clear water, nice hotels, amazing town and nice people. You can choose swimming or hiking, climbing or rest on the beach.

Lovely, amazing quality
Millstatt is a really nice town and of course the lake makes it even more special. With a proper cafe and a sauna with an infinity pool, this place will make you smile! The lake is clear and warm in the summer, and there's a great rock climb in the lake which you climb and jump off. Used to be a great slide, but of course it was shut down a few years ago now, very disappointing about that. Hopefully they will reconstruct a better and safer one. The new refurbished cut grass will make your nostrils sizzle and great facilities from children to the elderly. Variable prices and a very nice bar serving ice cream, beer and some lunches. Would really recommend this to a beach/summery family. It's a spectacular area with plenty of shops, hotels and rent out flats.
