Wonderful small lake in Austria near Salzburg. Plenty of activities in summertime, many winter sports options. Fine food nearby. Worth the detour. Boas that cross the lake in summertime.

    nice place to visit
    In winter it gives a very special view on the lake and the mountains around the lake. I really would recommend to visit this. It's possible to walk around the lake. One part you can walk besides the water, the other side you have to walk on the street.

    Splendid lake surrounded by mountains
    Magnificent mountain view, big spectacular lake surrounded by mountains and ski resorts. Zell am see, shuttdorf have nice places to stay with view to the lake. During summer boat trips are possible.
