Warm up to Skiing Austria
First time to Hintertux and really impressed. Being a glacier area you a pretty guaranteed of having good groomers to ski on regardless of the snowfall. Hintertux did not disappoint and provided plenty of great runs to get the ski legs working and spectacular scenery serviced by trams, gondolas and ski lifts. Great places on the mountain for lunch and re fuelling

Summer ski
Went here for a morning of summer skiing. There are a couple of places around the parking lot of the glacier to rent equipment if you don’t have any yourself. A bit crowded when the gondola opened (as everyone wants to enjoy the most of the day). Lots of skiing teams as well. We had a clear day and enjoyed skiing until around lunchtime. Enjoyed ourselves for the day while having lunch on the mountain as well. You do pay full price for the day (almost €50pp) to get up the mountain.
