Museum - worth the stop
I pass through here often. And was glad I stopped here today. Good local history, with nice exhibits of county history and local legends. Was especially glad to see the exhibit of Lane Frost - who I knew growing up, and surprised to see that red and black hat!

Cool History
Lots of interesting history that gets passed up easily. There is a super cool confederate graveyard behind the museum! Also, a small dinosaur skeleton on display that is really neat! Highly recommend stopping here...

Interesting County Museum
I love county museums and I wish they got more funding. There were items and information from the battle itself. There is a skeleton of a baby dinosaur. In the second room, there is an exhibit of Lane Frost among other things. They had one of those old hair curling things that takes a second to sink in what it was for because it looks like some method of electrocution. It's the second time I have seen one and I don't know what they are called. The cemetery is kind of small and there are gravestones that are illegible or nonexistent. Those that are buried that have been identified have a newer head stone providing the name. There were a couple of times I thought I was standing on a grave with no marker at all. Nice little stop on a road trip and probably took about 1 hour and 15 minutes at most.
