We aren’t campers. We came to see the Butterfield Stage ruts. We didn’t. After talking with the park ranger, we learned the ruts are outside the back fence, however someone has bought that land and is in the process of clearing out the trees etc. Sad. We could tell by the swells of the ground inside the park near where the church had been that probably the road passed there. I met my first Chickasaw Indian there. Kyle. Nice young man. See more..
