Amazing Architectural Design!

This building is absolutely beautiful, and stands tall in the heart of a square that has a ton of homeless people living there. The pink color design on the blue sky background just adds to it's beauty!

    Probably the best thing to do in Asuncion AND IT'S FREE!
    It's the big Pink building by the plaza de armas, NOT the address currently listed on tripadvisor. The museum is small and has some decent exhibitions. I found the upstairs and its history about immigration very interesting. From the upstairs you get a nice view of the Asuncion favelas,

    an interesting, diverse perspective on Paraguay in a great old building
    We had read positive things about this museum, in the old pink-colored legislative building. We enjoyed the ministrations of a most congenial and knowledgeable English-speaking guide Victor Ortiz. The museum includes a diverse number of exhibits, from post-colonial artifacts to a remarkable collection on manuscripts and materials from great Paraguayan musicians. (You can even visit the former chambers of the legislature and take pictures from the platform of the president. All fun and digestible.
