    Casa Museo Jose Villalobos Ampuero
    This house dating from the end of the 19th century contains a collection of art and decorative items from predominantly the 18th and 19th centuries belonging to Jose Villalobos Ampuero, a doctor and former mayor of the city. The guided tour was informative and detailed and the guide very knowledgeable regarding the many beautiful items on exhibit. The house itself is not large, and entrance for foreigners at S/. 30 is a bit pricey (S/. 10 for nationals), but it is still worth a visit to view this unique collection and its setting.
