Great Relaxing Morning
A welcome restful morning after trekking all about the desert! Waters are warm, there are great facilities with picnic tables and generally not too crowded. We feared ourselves away after a couple of hours but could easily have spent a couple more. I didn’t realize picnic tables were available - in shade - would have been a great place for a picnic lunch!

Perfect Spot to relax!
These hot springs are unique! Went after a long hike and it was simply perfect to enjoy the purified waters. You will find different pools (might get crowded) but you can set yourself in a good spot and disconnect your mind from everything.

Relaxing and Refreshing
Puritama Hot Springs is a series of eight large pools of geothermal spring water located at the bottom of a canyon in the Atacama Desert, within a close driving distance from San Pedro De Atacama. One feels relaxed and refreshed after one takes a dip in one of the natural pools. Certainly worth visiting for those who seek some relaxation in the midst of several hectic activities revolving around San Pedro De Atacama.
