A surreal swim in 'Cejar'!!

If in the Atacama, and you A) enjoy swimming and/or B) enjoy a nice cool-down on a hot, dry day, you MUST visit 'laguna Cejar'!! No "floaties" needed, just walk right in, cool down, and float...as you can't do anything else! Cool, salty water beckons you in so enjoy. DOUBLE-WARNING: i. the water is extremely salty; do NOT open eyes! ii. sulfuric smells.

    Expensive! But a great experience
We nearly turned back at the gates as they entry fee was high and no discount at all for children. Fortunately we decided to head in, the experience is something else swimming like a cork in the salt lagoon. If you can’t make it to the Dead Sea, this is your best bet. Try to avoid the tour crowds if you can, and if you don’t want to swim - don’t pay the entry fee, not worth it. A few walks available but not worth it, this is only to swim in one of three lagoons.

    This place does not worth.
We drove so much to arrive there, also got lost because Google Maps does not show the road, because there is not a "road" but ok we are talking about the desert. But the point is that is hard to access and we needed a 4x4 to arrive, after it we need to pay the entry fee and it is that kind of stinky lake, so bad. We arrived thee and gave up go inside. But in the way we have the Salar de Atacama and a wonderful view to the wide desert.
