A nice place all year
Just took a stroll through here with my kiddos yesterday to enjoy the sun. I love that this park has so much fun for the family. There is a small all ages playground, a historic farmhouse and barn with animals for the kids to look at, an ice rink in the winter (for when mine get older), a pool in the summer, a tennis court, softball fields and a soccer field in the summer. Plus the have a seasonally open farmers market. I really am impressed by how this park has grown over the years. It’s our go to outing to get out of the house.

Nice public park in the southern part of Ann Arbor
This modest size park has a variety of attractions aside from the open space and swings. There is a pool, open during the summer hours, with a separate wading pool for toddlers. There is a barn with several types of barn animals. The surrounding neighborhood is very pleasant and a good place for walking.

Nice rink
This park has an outdoor ice rink for public use. The rink is covered, with boards and a scoreboard, and the facility has a zam to keep the ice nice. Check their Web page for the schedule. You can come for an open skate, book a sheet for yourself/team or just come watch an amateur game.
