Nice alternative to bars or coffeehouses
I just stumbled on Blom Meadworks even though it's been around for several years. Their meads and ciders are excellent and taste brighter and lighter than ales or beers. They have an impressive variety of offerings and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their products.Their space is very open and well-lit, which is nice if you want to play one of the many board games they have on hand. It's a nice change of pace from the usual bar.

Interesting Meads! Great hangout place!
Its a great new addition to the tree town. They have a nice selection of meads that can also accommodate gluten-free restrictions ( brewed in-house). They also have a collection of board games. My family enjoyed spending time there; trying mead and playing board games. We even got a howler home! They also give a tour of the facility. Will check it out soon!
