I liked it, It was first big lake I have seen in Huazcaran and it is nice stay there. Blue, calm and energetic.

Beautiful Lake
This lake is just breathtaking. The hike was easy - a bit lengthy, so prepare to spend the day here. We packed a lunch and enjoyed picnicking at the lake. I highly recommend visiting the area.

Is staying in the area, this can be a great day hike
We stayed at the Llanganuco Mountain Lodge so this was a short taxi ride away, 20 minutes or so. We were dropped off and walked mostly downhill back to our lodge taking approx 3 hours. We didn't see one other person the entire way. It was quite different. The 1 hour trek through the cloud forest meets up with another trail that deposits you at the park entrance. Easy hike, lots of waterfalls and river. Just lovely and relaxing and entirely different than other hikes in the area. Highly recommend for anyone that doesn't want anything too strenuous as they get accustomed to the altitude.
