Great Little Hike
I went for a day hike with my dog and boyfriend. I am a beginner so I found the Puffer Butte hike just right. It was sufficiently difficult to get that endorphine kick without being exhausting. The view just out from the warming but *It was summer so don't think this is a winter activity* I feel like we have only seen a tiny bit of it and I want to go back.

An excellent and out of the way state park
Fields Spring State Park is an excellent park located in an out of the way place. In the far southeast corner of Washington state, it is a quiet place to camp. There are plenty of hiking trails in the summer which double as cross country trails in the winter. There are both traditional camping spots as well as tepees and a few cabins. You will probably see some wild life while you are here. Overall a great place to get away from it for a quiet weekend.
