Great place to hike
Great place to hike with abundant wildlife! My husband and I parked at the Atlantic Recreation Center and hiked the northern part of the park in the morning, had lunch at Salt Life, then parked in the Residence Inn parking lot on Sadler Road and hiked the southern part of the park in the afternoon. We saw alligators, anhingas, egrets, herons, and many other beautiful birds, but not too many people. This is an amazing place to spend the day outdoors.

very peaceful-refreshing walking trail.
What a wonderful community gem on the island. Lots of turtles,birds and geckos. Very flat and easy for low level walks. We were there in february and not very buggy. Wonfer spot to spend an hour or 2. Would walk the area again

Lots of Variety and different Locations to Explore
I have walked Eagan's Creek Park and I have riden my bike on many of its paths. There are good number of sections of the park to explore - some out along the creek and marshes and others in the woods. Lots of bird life to see if your are patient. Many places to park and then hike. A good FREE spot to get away from it all. Benches available here and there.
