Great Collection
Popped into the old sod house museum recently in Aline. Wonderful little museum that depicts what prairie life was like. I have a lot of respect for the pioneers for the hardships & challenges they faced on a daily basis. Makes you extremely thankful for modern conveniences. Great collection of period pieces such as tools, housewares & farm equipment out in the barn

Fascinating museum!
Inside this musuem is the only remaining sod house in Oklahoma. There are also numerous exhibits on the McCully family and los of items from the pioneer days. If offered, say yes to a tour. We had a fascinating private tour and learned so much during our visit. We really enjoyed our visit to this museum. Please note that they accept cash only. So you will want to have enough for admission as well as items from the gift shop.

Wonderful historic site
What a wonderful piece of history! We arrive later in the afternoon on a Friday as the lone visitors. The museum director gave us a personal tour and shared so much knowledge of the sod house, but information about the time period and other historical sites and geological gems of this part of Oklahoma. We had a fantastic time and recommend it highly.
