Brunswick Zone XL, Illinois, United States

Fun, but costs can add up

We often get 'free' coupons for the Brunswick Zone, and have been there quite a few times. It's an amazing, bright, colorful, and fun place for family gatherings. You can do arcade, bowling, eating, and laser tag. Staff are friendly and professional, the facilty is well maintained. The only caveat I would give is that costs can escalate quickly if you're not careful. For instance you make get a free game of bowling coupon. Do you need shoes? Extra cost. Do you want to bowl with that person? Extra Cost. Want a Coke to drink? Extra cost. Everything has a price, so while I like this place, just keep an eye on the old wallet.

    No way- its NOT bowling
Ive been bowling ofr 25 years- was a great kids/parents night out and inexpensive..right? Not at XL Zone- with the rediculous hourly price tag- waiters bringing overpriced mediocre food- i have spent over $100. on last 2 trips- and couldnt get through 4 bowlers and 10 frames without going over the hour time- so we couldnt even finish the games. Terrible format- bring back the per person per game format.

    Great Fun isn't Cheap
We went bowling and played games. The games are expensive. There are a lot of $2.00 and up games. What happened to $.25 games. The pizza wasn't good at all. Dough was thick and the pizza barely had sauce. It was just a dough with a little sauce and a dabble of cheese. I would not eat there again but had fun bowling and playing expensive games.
