Beautiful scenery, fun boat trip

Great experience. The scenery is beautiful, nice short hike. Take the steps down to the rocks from which the boats leave, book directly from the guy standing there ($20 for adults, $10 for kids 5 and over; for $70 you get a private boat) and take the 35 min ride sightseeing all the caves and secluded beaches from the water. We as a family with 2 kids (1,5 and 3,5 yrs old) and grandma all very much enjoyed it.

Cannot be missed when in Lagos
This is a spot we returned to again and again during our four day stay in Lagos--at sunset, sunrise and in between. It was breathtaking from every vantage point and the vistas incredible. Sadly, it rained during much of our time there, but Ponta da Piedade did not disappoint even in a downpour. It is so worth visiting. We could have spent more time wandering the boardwalks and paths. We did eventually take the steps all the way down to the water, and that was worthwhile. Do not miss this snapshot of nature at its finest.

    Hike to beautiful viewpoint
About a 30 minute hike from Lagos town centre but well worth it. Some great views and picturesque rock formations. There is a wee cafe at the top so if it is a very hot day you can cool down with a beer or water there. If hiking isnt for you then you can get a taxi from the town centre which is relatively cheap. (We got a taxi to the beach just before Ponta Da Piedade one day and it only cost $4 which is very cheap compared to UK taxi prices. Definitely something you should do on your stay in Lagos!
