Interesting visit

D. Fernando II e Gloria is a wood sailing ship of the Portuguese Navy, open for visits of the public, in Cacilhas - Almada. She is one of the oldest ships in the world, in a dry dock of the river tagus. A one of a kind experience, full of adventures and treasures to find, understand what it was to be a sailor and every part and object of the ship that was the last sailing ship of the Portuguese Navy that connected Europe and Asia!

    not shut on Mondays
Very nice frigate largely restored allowing a nice visit and providing a nice experience. Travelling from Lisbon by boat is easy, cheap and very interesting as Lisbon provides a excellent view.

    Shut on Mondays...
This is a beautifully restored frigate and well worth the inexpensive and quick crossing to cacilhas. Well worth visit, but be aware it is shut on Mondays.
