Beautiful hike to get a little way away from town

We were in town with a cruise ship and did a morning excursion but still had some time afterward before we left. We filled it with this beautiful hike out to Yakutania Point. It was fairly easy and not too hilly, with some forest views along the way and a beautiful rocky beach at the end. It took us less than an hour to walk out, enjoy the views, soak up the sun, and take a few pictures, and then head back across the bridge to town. From there it was 15 or 20 minutes across town back to where our ship was docked. Definitely worth a short hike to get some Alaskan scenery if you're in Skagway!

    Easy Hike
We arrived at Skagway via Princess Cruises and this is an excellent short hike from the ship. Part way through town and part way in nature. This flat terrain hike takes you to a rocky outcrop.
