Fantastic flight into Kennecott
Took the roundtrip flight Chitina-McCarthy in order to spend 2 days at Kennecott Glacier Lodge. The pilot was very professional and provided both safe transport and lively narration about the glaciers as we flew over them. Great experience.

Transportation
The shuttle situation in McCarthy is confusing. There is a shuttle that takes you from the bridge to McCarthy for free and is $5 one way to Kennecott (it picks you up outside the Potato). The shuttle referred to in this review is $15 for all day up and back and picks you up at the General Store. We used both shuttles. Happy with both but since we never went up to Kennecott more than once a day we would use the $5 shuttle if we ever found ourselves in McCarthy again.

Great flightsee!
I was lucky enough to catch a clear day after having my originally booked trip postponed. The staff worked hard to stay in communication about options despite logistics challenges. Well worth the money.
