Nice Stop by the Kenai River
For us this was the first stop on our "Authentic Alaska" bus tour. The staff was very friendly and eager to help and answer questions. We immediately walked down to the Kenai river, to feel the water temprature. It was cold!! There were several fishermen on the site. The visitor center itself was nice and very much like what you expect in places like that. I liked the esthetic look of it.

Clean and Well Kept
The Visitors Center in Soldotna is one of two visitors centers in the area. The Center is the better of the two and is worth a quick stop in. It offers some displays of a Kodiak bear, a Dall Sheep and some other animals. Also has a small gift store and offers many brochures.
