Alaska bush float plane adventure with glaciers and wildlife
A great way to see some Glaciers and the remote area between Anchorage and Seward by float plane. This is a family run operation that is right off the main highway on the way to Seward. It does varying lengths of flights over the area, taking off from a glacier fed lake. It's a true Alaska bush plane feeling adventure. Great pilot and owner gave us an awesome ride/tour. It's also a flight school, so there is no shortage of float planes taking off, flying around, and landing. The perfect experience on the way to Seward from Anchorage.

One of the top experiences of our week in Alaska
My two sons were convinced no trip to Alaska was complete without a float plane flightsee. I can't say I was initially on the same page. Our family is very tall and big. I couldn't imagine us fitting in the small plane andf thus, I offered to be the land photographer... But Brad, looked at us, and since we weren't carrying gear, thought it would be no problem. So in we all went. And, it was amazing. The day was perfect weather and we flew over the Spencer Glacier. This was the perfect complement to having seen glaciers from the water. While I took lots of pictures, I made sure to move the camera from my eye to take in the beauty of the stunning scenery. We highly, highly recommend. It was worth the drive from the Alyeska Resort.

An Outstanding Experience!
While driving from Cooper Landing to Seward we stopped to watch a float plane land on trail lake. We then drove to find where the plane was docked to inquire about taking a scenic flight. The staff in the small office gave us information on the available tours and we choose a 30 minute glacier trip. We were provided with safety gear and loaded into the single engine 3 seater plane. Our pilot was a very friendly young man who proved to be very skilled. The trip was outstanding flying over the Spencer Glacier and making a smooth landing on trail lake. He did a great job in pointing out the many sights along the way. We were very pleased with Scenic Mountain Air.
