we are of this faith, it is nice to be able to attend when in town. inside is clean, quiet, inspirational, with stained glass windows.

Visit to the sunshine church
Resurrection church is a friendly,welcoming Lutheran church with interesting services and a great coffee hour for sharing after.

Beautiful Southern Alaskan style
We love seeing the different architecture of churches throughout the world and Alaska provided with some very interesting examples of church architecture - from the Russian style St. Nicholas in Juneau, to the Cathedral of the Holy Family in Anchorage to churches like Resurrection Lutheran Church. It is of a simple style and is a classic example of an Alaskan church - simply beautiful. The church is low in height, with small arched windows and a very thin steeple. The Methodist Church in town was similar in style. We were there after the 10 am service, so we settled for the exterior view.
