Beautiful and Quiet Walking Trail

This lake is right next to the highway. I drive by this lake hundreds of times a year. I finally decided to stop here with my family one weekend to see this lake. I was surprised to find a beautiful and quiet walking trail around the lake. There is also an observation tower that cannot be seen from the highway. Don't pass up this easy to access lake and it's beautiful scenery.

    Quite lake
    We visited Alaska couple of times and both the time, this lake pulled us back to show its beauty. More than the reflection, the place itself is quiet and neat. A good place to take your lunch/dinner and spend some time around the lake to unwind and relax.

    Small lake with an easy one mile loop and plenty of view points
    Small lake with an easy, flat 1 mile track around it. Plenty of picnic tables and benches at different viewpoints. There is also a small tower you can climb to look for birds and other wildlife over the adjacent flats. Nice if you're looking for a pleasant stroll and some good scenery.
