This part of our great Alaskan Wilderness has something to offer for every one. If your with older folks & kids you could go berry picking or the closes lake for fishing & a picknic. If your with your more out dorsey friends you could hike around & hit all three lakes. I know there is a boat at the first lake with ores no out board but you could always bring your own kicker & off you go, or just ore out it's fun. Jump in on a hot day & go swimming. Ether way your going to enjoy our out doors & wild life.

Breathtaking views
One of the great trail systems throughout the Tongass. plenty of fishing areas and opportunitys. What a wonderfull friendly town. Easy acsess by plane or boat. Lots of wildlife. It is a rain forest so be prepared for rain!!! Also not too buggy. Just wait 15 minutes and the weather will change. Some steep spots during the hike!!! You need to be in some physical shape. Their are harder trails in the area, as well as easy day walks. Very laid back town!!!

Peaceful scenery
We walked only a small part of the trail but found what we did hike to be beautiful and peaceful. Best to wear shoes that will take some mud as parts were muddy because of rainfall.
