Friendly helpful greeters, video and displays with history, artist of the week, extrnsive community garden
We stopped at the visitor center during our visit through the area. We were welcomed warmly. My hubby enjoyed watching the history video while I wandered through the extensive adjacent garden. Recommend a pit stop here.

Excellent place to visit for ideas in the area
They have a great little gift shop . The guy who assisted me was helpful. He gave me directions to several places to visit.

Small town visitor center
For a small town the visitor center had info about the area & even a walking tour that you can do which was pretty neat. Pretty flowers out back also. Not much to do in town so I’d recommend the walking tour if you’re looking for something to do.
