Absolute MUST do activity!
We went on a 10 day Alaskan bucket list trip for our 26th anniversary at the beginning of this month (June). We did the Matanuska Glacier Adventures pretty early in our trip and it was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!! Isabel was our tour guide and she was so very sweet and extremely knowledgeable about the glacier and the surrounding area. It was a pretty easy hike/walk even if you are out of shape. I cannot stress enough that you HAVE to do this tour! If we ever go back, we will absolutely be doing this again. 12 out of 10 recommend. ** The last question asked if this was "risky", its not risky but it is unusual and exciting like the question asked,**

Amazing hike. Forceful tipping demands
The hike is a must! However, not sure if it has to be with this company. From the moment we came to check in, we got almost forceful tipping demands. We were asked if we have enough cash to tip the guides at $20 per person. Tipping asks were printed and posted all around. Once we were done with the tour, and I went to the car, a woman ran after me with persistent questioning whether the guide took good care of us which meant “give her tips”. I wonder if those guides are paid anything at all…
