Vibrant Community Arts Center
The Main Street Gallery is basically a community arts center and art gallery and features the works of local established and emerging artists. It provides the visitor with a wonderful exposure to the type of art currently produced in the Ketchikan area. The Ketchikan Art Council is dedicated to the promotion and advancement of it local artists and art in its community and they have exhibitions throughout the year. We enjoyed it because: the art was interesting and very professionally executed, some art seemed to make social or politically statements, and we just love visiting art centers like this.

Local Art
Visited the Gallery during the Blueberry Festival. Great exhibition. All local artists. Types of art include, paintings, sculptures, weavings and specialty art. (Note: There is a restroom in side the door that is clean and maintained.)
